"Hands down one of the best experiences on Playstation last year."

I've been a HUGE fan of Ratchet and Clank over the years and not too long ago ground for the Platinum on the ps4. So, I was itching at the chance to play Rift Apart. When it was released.

It was the best story from a Ratchet and Clank game for me, with a whole cast of familiar faces returning to the action. Rivet was a great addition too. The weapons were BIGGER, CRAZIER and more creative than ever before!

The game REALLY gave the ps5 a chance to flex its muscles, with the SSD being able to instantly load different dimensions using space rifts. My favourite use of this was the Zuckon arena speed challenges. Zipping from planet to planet all the while on the same race track. It was so seamless and fun as hell.

I took a lot of photos in this game. It might be where I've captured my best yet, in my opinion anyway. The use of filters to create sci-fi blues and greens pop out of a darker background was addictive. Here are some of my favourites:

I played the game from start to finish over a few weeks. Then when I rolled the credits. I started a new game plus and dived back in for the Platinum Trophy. Hands down one of the best experiences on Playstation last year.

About Me

Hi, I'm Cameron! I've long been wanting to write about games. I've been playing them my whole life, so I may as well share my thoughts on them too. Cam's Odyssey is a place to track my own journey through the world of games and record the impression they've left on me along the way.
