My first taste of what a PS5 can really do. First, it runs so damn well, loads instantly and is the best looking game I've seen so far.

I really enjoyed the story of Miles. He's a lot cooler than Peter but still finding his feet as a new Spider-Man. I was impressed how even though he's Spider-Man, he feels totally unique.

The combat was slicker. Had access to Electricity and cloaking, which was incredible for photo opportunities! The way he traverses New York is AWESOME! He's got more flair and overall just a good dude. He gets thrown in at the deep end whilst Peter is away BUT. I think this works nicely. If Big bro Spider-Man showed up when things got rough, he'd never grow. By the end of the game, he certainly has done that. I'm really looking forward to the next instalment that was just teased. Venom is a complex character, and I'm excited to see how he's portrayed.

I took a lot of Photos in Miles. I played around with the exposure levels to create silhouettes and showcase Miles's various Spidey suits and poses. My favourite photo has to be versus the final boss. It looks like something you'd see in a concept art book! I'm pleased with how it turned out!

About Me

Hi, I'm Cameron! I've long been wanting to write about games. I've been playing them my whole life, so I may as well share my thoughts on them too. Cam's Odyssey is a place to track my own journey through the world of games and record the impression they've left on me along the way.
